INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seafood
- 🐙 100g boiled octopus
Vegetables
- 4 taro roots (300g), peeled and cut
- 🧅 2 green onions, sliced
Seasoning
- White sesame seeds, as needed
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese granulated dashi
- 💧 420ml water
PASSOS
Peel and cut taro roots into bite-sized pieces. Rub with salt to remove sliminess, rinse with water, and drain. Microwave for 1 minute at 600W.
Slice green onions diagonally and cut boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.
Add soaked rice and seasoning ingredients (salt, soy sauce, dashi, water) into the clay pot and mix well. Add taro and octopus, then lightly mix.
Cover the pot and heat on medium until boiling.
Reduce to low heat and cook for 10–15 minutes. Increase to strong medium heat for 30–40 seconds to create a crispy layer, then turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle white sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the rice, then mix gently before serving.
