INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 1 can (70g) oil-packed tuna
- 300g satoimo (Japanese taro)
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp curry powder
PASSOS
Peel the satoimo by cutting off the top and bottom, then peeling vertically. Cut in half lengthwise, place cut side down, and slice into 1cm pieces. Rub the satoimo with salt (1/2 tbsp, not listed in ingredients), rinse 2-3 times until water runs clear, and drain.
Place the satoimo in a microwave-safe container with 1 tbsp water (not listed in ingredients). Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for about 5 minutes until softened. Let cool and drain well.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the tuna (including the oil from the can). Once bubbling, add the satoimo and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until coated in oil.
Add the seasonings (sake, soy sauce, curry powder) and stir-fry until the liquid is absorbed and the dish is dry.
