    • 200g sliced pork
  • Vegetables

    • 3 taro roots, peeled and sliced
    • 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
    • Chopped green onion, as needed

    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tsp oyster sauce
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Thickening Agent

    • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp water

Peel and slice the taro into 1cm pieces. Rub with salt and rinse with water. Microwave for 5–6 minutes at 600W.

Trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms and separate them by hand. Cut pork into bite-sized pieces.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add pork and cook until its color changes.

Add shimeji mushrooms and microwaved taro to the pan. Stir to coat with oil, then add the seasonings and stir-fry over medium heat.

Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the pan. Stir until the sauce thickens. Serve and garnish with chopped green onion.
