INGREDIENTES
Seafood
- 2 tbsp dried shirasu
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes (300g)
Condiments
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/3 tsp dried parsley
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Breading
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 🧀 1 tbsp grated cheese
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
PASSOS
Cut the potatoes into quarters and soak them in water to remove excess starch.
Place the potatoes in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 6 minutes.
Mash the potatoes and mix in salt, pepper, mayonnaise, parsley, and shirasu. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls.
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and grated cheese together.
Coat each potato ball in flour, then beaten egg, and finally the breadcrumb-cheese mixture.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (340°F), ensuring the oil is about 3cm deep. Fry the coated balls until golden brown, turning occasionally.
