INGREDIENTES
Main
- 🍤 150g peeled shrimp
- 10 shiso leaves
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- A pinch of pepper
Batter
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 5 tbsp water
PASSOS
Trim the stems off the shiso leaves.
Cut the shrimp into 1cm pieces and mash into a paste.
Mix the shrimp paste with salt, potato starch, and pepper until sticky.
Combine flour and water in a separate bowl to create the batter.
Place 1/10 of the shrimp paste on a shiso leaf and wrap tightly. Repeat for all leaves.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 170°C. Dip the wrapped shrimp in the batter and fry for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
