INGREDIENTES
Vegetables
- 1 bag bean sprouts
- 🥕 1/2 carrot, julienned
- 🧅 1/3 green onion, thinly sliced
Seafood
- 🦐 150g peeled shrimp
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water
Thickening Agent
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
PASSOS
Season the peeled shrimp with sake, salt, and pepper.
Julienne the carrot and thinly slice the green onion diagonally.
In a pot, bring the carrot and the ingredients marked with ☆ (mirin, soy sauce, grated ginger, dashi powder, and water) to a boil. Add the bean sprouts and green onion, and simmer over medium heat until softened.
Add the shrimp to the pot and continue cooking over medium heat until the shrimp turn pink and the mixture comes to a boil again.
Mix the potato starch and water to create a slurry, then add it to the pot. Cook until the mixture thickens.
