INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1200g chicken drumsticks
- 🧅 1 onion, thickly sliced
- 🧅 1 green onion, thickly sliced
Seasoning
- 12 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp ginger wine
- 1.5 cups cola
- A pinch of black pepper
- 2 cups water
PASSOS
Wash the chicken drumsticks and make two diagonal cuts on each for better seasoning absorption. Blanch them in boiling water for 20–30 seconds, then rinse under cold water and drain.
Place the blanched chicken drumsticks in a large pan. Add thickly sliced onion, green onion, soy sauce, oyster sauce, corn syrup, minced garlic, ginger wine, cola, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix gently and marinate for 10 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water to the pan. Bring to a boil over high heat for 4–5 minutes, then reduce to medium heat and cover the pan. Simmer for 20 minutes, occasionally spooning the sauce over the chicken.
