INGREDIENTES

- 670g pork belly
Vegetables
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic
- 🧅 1 medium onion
Sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp ginger
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 💧 4 tbsp water
PASSOS
Mix soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, sugar, corn syrup, cooking wine, sesame oil, black pepper, and water in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Prepare pork belly by scoring it with a knife and cutting into manageable pieces.
Heat a pan without oil and sear the pork belly on both sides until golden brown.
Remove excess oil from the pan using paper towels.
Slice garlic and onion into bite-sized pieces.
Add garlic and onion to the same pan and sauté until slightly softened.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer.
Add the pork belly back into the pan and cook until the sauce is fully absorbed and thickened.
