INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
- 🌿 20g cilantro, divided into stems and leaves
Dry Ingredients
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
Liquid Ingredients
- 💧 3 tbsp water
- Cooking oil, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Garnish
- 🍋 2 lemon wedges
PASSOS
Separate cilantro stems and leaves. Mince stems and thinly slice onion.
Cut beef into 2–3 pieces.
In a bowl, mix beef with sake, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cardamom. Add minced cilantro stems, onion, and flour. Mix well, then add water and mix again.
Heat oil to 180°C in a pot. Flatten 1/6 of the mixture on a spatula and gently slide it into the oil. Fry until golden brown, flipping occasionally.
Plate the fried beef and garnish with cilantro leaves and lemon wedges.
