- 🦑 2 squids, cleaned and sliced
- 🥕 Some carrot, sliced
- 🧅 Some green onion, chopped
- 🧅 Some onion, sliced
- Some cooking oil
Seasonings
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧂 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 💧 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
PASSOS
Clean the squid thoroughly using coarse salt or flour, then rinse multiple times and slice into bite-sized pieces. Remove excess water.
Prepare vegetables of your choice. Slice onions, carrots, and chop green onions.
Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a wide pan and add the chopped green onions to make green onion oil.
Once the green onion oil is ready, add the sliced squid and stir-fry together.
Add the seasonings in order: 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp gochujang, and 3 tbsp chili powder. Stir well.
If the mixture feels dry, add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Adjust the water amount based on your stove's heat intensity.
Add all the prepared vegetables and stir-fry until everything is well-cooked.
Finish by adding 1 tbsp sesame oil for a fragrant touch.
