- 🦑 400g squid, cleaned and cut
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 onion, sliced
- 1 stalk green onion, chopped
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Liquid
- 💧 1 cup water
Seasoning
- 3.5 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp spicy chili powder
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧄 1.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- A pinch of black pepper
Finishing Touch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
PASSOS
Prepare the seasoning mix and let it rest for at least half a day for better flavor.
Slice the onion and chop the green onion.
Score the squid body diagonally and cut into large pieces. Cut the tentacles into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and stir-fry the squid and onion.
When the squid turns white, add the seasoning mix and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil, add the green onion, and adjust the seasoning to taste.
Finish by adding sesame oil and sesame seeds. Mix well before serving.
