INGREDIENTES

- 🥔 300g new potatoes
Dairy
- 🧈 5g salted butter (for finishing)
- 🧈 5g salted butter
Seasonings
- 100cc water
- 2 tsp mirin
- 🧂 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
PASSOS
Cut the new potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Soak them in water briefly, then drain.
Add the seasoning ingredients (water, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, butter) and the potatoes to a pot. Heat over medium heat and stir until the seasonings dissolve.
Cover the pot and simmer for about 15 minutes until the liquid reduces. Occasionally rotate the pot to coat the potatoes evenly.
Uncover the pot and continue cooking on low heat until the liquid is almost gone. Occasionally rotate the pot to prevent sticking.
Serve the potatoes on a plate and top with the finishing butter.
