INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 2 packs of mackerel
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 5 perilla leaves, sliced
- 5 tbsp teriyaki sauce
Teriyaki Sauce Ingredients
- 🧂 8 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice wine
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 🍬 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1/4 tbsp ginger powder
- 💧 1/4 cup water
PASSOS
Combine soy sauce, rice wine, vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, corn syrup, ginger powder, and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then let it cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for later use.
Mix 5 tbsp of teriyaki sauce with sliced green chilies. Slice perilla leaves and onion into thin strips.
Pan-fry the mackerel on both sides until golden brown.
Add 5 tbsp of teriyaki sauce to the pan with the mackerel. Simmer on low heat, spooning the sauce over the fish until it reduces slightly. Add sliced onion on top and cook for 10 more seconds.
Serve the mackerel on a plate lined with sliced perilla leaves.
