INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) skinless chicken breast
- 200g lotus root
- 🍋 4 frozen lemon slices
Seasonings
- 🍋 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
- A small amount of chopped green onion
Marinade Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp potato starch
PASSOS
Cut the lotus root into bite-sized pieces diagonally and soak in water to remove excess starch. Drain well.
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix the chicken with sake, salt, and pepper. Massage well, then coat evenly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes until browned on both sides. Add lotus root and frozen lemon slices, stir-fry briefly, then cover and steam on low-medium heat for 2 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Add sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, and sesame seeds. Stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute until the sauce thickens.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
