INGREDIENTES
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Noodles
- 90g Chinese dangmyeon
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 potatoes (300g), sliced
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), sliced
- 50g chives, chopped
Liquid
- 💧 250cc water
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Dairy
- 🧀 40g pizza cheese
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp sliced chili
PASSOS
Trim excess fat from chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt and pepper.
Soak dangmyeon in water for 10 minutes until softened, then drain.
Slice onion into 1cm widths, chop chives into 4cm lengths, and cut potatoes into half-moon slices. Soak potatoes in water and drain.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add chicken, and cook until browned. Add onion and potatoes, stirring until coated with oil. Add water and bring to a boil.
Skim off foam, add sauce ingredients, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Add dangmyeon and cook for 3 minutes, then add chives and cook until softened.
Turn off heat, sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and let melt with residual heat.
