INGREDIENTES

- 🌭 6 sausages
- 5 taro roots (500g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🧀 60g shredded pizza cheese
- Breadcrumbs as needed
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- Dried parsley as needed
White Sauce
- 🧈 30g salted butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 400ml milk
- 1/2 tsp consomme powder
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of black pepper
PASSOS
Peel the taro roots and slice them into 1cm thick rounds. Rub with salt, rinse with water, and drain.
Thinly slice the onion and cut the sausages diagonally into 7-8mm slices.
Place taro, onion, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe dish. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 8 minutes.
In another microwave-safe dish, add butter and microwave at 600W for 40 seconds to melt.
Add flour to the melted butter and whisk. Gradually add milk while whisking, then add consomme, salt, and pepper.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes. Stir well.
Microwave again at 600W for another 4 minutes, then stir.
Combine the microwaved taro, onion, sausages, and white sauce in a baking dish. Mix gently, then top with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake in a toaster oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with dried parsley before serving.
