INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🧈 1 block firm tofu
- Assorted vegetables as desired
Sauce Ingredients
- 💧 300 ml water
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
Starch Mixture (1:1)
- Equal parts starch
- 💧 Equal parts water
PASSOS
Freeze the tofu in its packaging for one day.
Thaw the frozen tofu in cold water and prepare it.
Press the tofu with a kitchen towel and plate to remove excess water.
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces, resembling sweet and sour pork chunks.
Place tofu pieces in a plastic bag with starch and shake to coat.
Fry the tofu in oil over medium heat until golden brown.
In a pan, combine water, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce.
Bring the sauce to a boil and add vegetables as desired.
Once boiling, gradually add the starch mixture to thicken the sauce.
