Cut the tomato in half vertically, remove the stem, and slice each half into three wedges.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add the canned mackerel, and stir-fry briefly to break it apart. Add the tomato and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until slightly softened. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
