INGREDIENTES
Seafood
- 🦑 1 whole squid
Oil
- 2 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
PASSOS
Remove the innards and cartilage from the squid. Cut off the innards and clean the tentacles by removing the beak and tips. Wash the body and tentacles thoroughly and pat dry.
Make 1cm wide cuts on both sides of the squid's body.
Place the squid body and tentacles in a resealable bag with the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and ginger). Massage the bag and marinate for about 10 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Remove the squid from the marinade and cook for about 3 minutes, pressing down with a spatula. Flip and cook the other side for another 3 minutes.
Add the remaining marinade to the pan and cook until the liquid evaporates and coats the squid.
