INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 50g ground pork
Vegetables
- 80g burdock root
- Chopped green onion, a pinch
Noodles
- 20g vermicelli
Seasoning
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp grated ginger
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
- 500ml water
PASSOS
Scrape the burdock root skin with the back of a knife, make vertical cuts, and shave thin slices into water. Soak for 5 minutes and drain. Cut vermicelli into manageable lengths with kitchen scissors.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add ground pork and grated ginger, stir-frying until the pork changes color.
Add burdock root and stir-fry until coated with oil. Add seasoning ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes until burdock softens.
Add vermicelli, stir, and cover. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes until vermicelli softens.
Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion.
