INGREDIENTS
Dough
- 🥛 1 cup whole milk
- 🍚 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (1/4-ounce) active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 🧈 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- 🧂 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest, divided
Filling & Topping
- 🍓 1 3/4 cups strawberry preserves
- 3/4 cup cheesecake filling
- 1/3 cup lemon curd
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
STEPS
Gather all ingredients.
Heat 1 cup of the milk to 110°F (43°C) in a small saucepan. Stir in sugar and yeast; let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
Beat flour, eggs, butter, salt, and 1 teaspoon lemon zest with a stand mixer until crumbly. Add milk mixture and knead into a smooth dough, about 10 minutes.
Transfer dough to a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
Roll dough into a rectangle, spread strawberry preserves, roll into a log, and slice into 12 rolls. Arrange rolls in the greased pan, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Brush remaining preserves over rolls and let cool for 5 minutes.
Mix cheesecake filling, lemon curd, lemon juice, remaining milk, and lemon zest. Drizzle over rolls and serve any leftovers on the side.
