Meat
- 120g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 5 shishito peppers
- 2 eggplants (160g)
Condiments
- 30g bottled Zha Cai
- 1 tsp sliced chili
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- Pinch of pepper
- 50cc water
步骤
Trim the ends of shishito peppers and cut them diagonally in half. Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise, slice thinly diagonally, soak in water, and drain.
Heat sesame oil and chili in a frying pan, add pork, and stir-fry over medium heat until the pork changes color. Add shishito peppers and eggplants, and stir-fry until coated with oil.
Add Zha Cai and the seasoning mixture (sake, soy sauce, ginger, pepper, and water). Cover and simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes. Remove the lid and cook until the liquid reduces by half and becomes glossy.
