Separate cabbage leaves from the core. Cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces and slice the core thinly at an angle.

Place cabbage, salt, and 1 tbsp water in a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.

Drain the cabbage, add dried shirasu, and mix well. Serve on a plate and drizzle soy sauce as desired.
