Main Ingredients
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (400g)
- 🍗 1 chicken breast (250g)
- 🌿 30g fresh basil
- 🧅 1 onion (200g)
- 🍅 1 tomato (120g)
- 1 piece ginger
- 🥬 1/4 celery stalk (25g)
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 💧 200ml water
Meat Marinade
- 🥛 3 tbsp unsweetened yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp curry powder
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
Garnish
- A pinch of black pepper
步骤
Chop basil, onion, tomato, ginger, celery, and garlic into small pieces. Reserve some basil for garnish.
Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and marinate with yogurt, curry powder, and salt in a plastic bag.
Heat salad oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onion, ginger, celery, and garlic, and sauté for 10 minutes until onions are soft.
Add basil, tomato, curry powder, and salt. Cook for 4–5 minutes to evaporate tomato moisture.
Add water and marinated chicken. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve the curry over rice, garnish with reserved basil, and sprinkle black pepper.
