Pork Ribs
- 600g pork ribs
Boiling Ingredients
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 3-4 bay leaves
- 🧄 4 cloves garlic
- 20 whole black peppercorns
Sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp plum extract
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 💧 1/3 cup water
- Pinch of black pepper
步骤
Soak the pork ribs in water for 1 hour, changing the water occasionally to remove blood.
Boil the pork ribs with onion, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns for 40-50 minutes to remove the pork's odor.
While the ribs are boiling, mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
After boiling, rinse the ribs under cold water and cut them into individual pieces.
Store the ribs and sauce separately in the refrigerator if preparing in advance.
Pan-fry the ribs until golden brown on both sides.
Add the prepared sauce to the pan and simmer on low heat until the sauce is absorbed.
Simmer until the sauce is almost gone, then serve.
