Base
- 🍚 2 bowls (300g) warm rice
Protein
- 🐟 1 can mackerel
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), minced
- 🥕 1/3 carrot (50g), diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
Seasoning
- 🧈 15g salted butter
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp consomme

Mince the onion and dice the carrot and bell pepper into 1cm cubes.

Heat butter in a pan, add garlic, ginger, onion, and carrot. Sauté over medium heat for 4–5 minutes.

Add bell pepper and sauté briefly. Then add the mackerel can (including the liquid) and break the mackerel into smaller pieces while cooking.

Add all seasoning ingredients (marked with ☆), mix well, and cook until the liquid evaporates. Serve the curry over warm rice.
