    • 💧 2 tbsp water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 2 tsp sugar

Julienne the ginger. Mix the seasoning liquid ingredients (soy sauce, water, sake, sugar) in a bowl.

Place half of the seasoning liquid and half of the ginger in a microwave-safe container. Arrange 2 yellowtail fillets without overlapping. Spoon some seasoning liquid over the fillets, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1.5–2 minutes. Flip the fillets, spoon more seasoning liquid, cover again, and microwave for another 2 minutes until cooked. Repeat for the remaining fillets.
