- 🥓 2 slices bacon

- 100g daikon, diced
- 🥕 1 carrot (80g), diced
Dairy
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 🥛 200ml milk
Seasonings
- 1/3 tsp consomme powder
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 💧 200ml water

Dice the daikon and carrot into 1cm cubes.

Cut the bacon into 1cm wide strips.

Heat butter in a pot over medium heat, add bacon and sauté briefly. Add daikon and carrot, stir until coated with oil.

Add water, consomme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Add milk and heat over medium heat until warmed through.
