Main Ingredients
- 2 pieces (400g) fried tofu
- 100g ground chicken
- 50g lotus root, chopped
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 💧 1 tbsp water
- Chopped green onion, for garnish
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
步骤
Chop the lotus root into small pieces and soak in water for 3 minutes. Drain well.
In a bowl, mix ground chicken, chopped lotus root, sake, and salt. Divide into 4 portions to form the filling.
Cut the fried tofu in half lengthwise and make a slit in each piece. Dust the inside with potato starch and stuff with the filling. Repeat for all pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the stuffed tofu and cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side.
Add water to the pan, cover with a lid, and steam over low heat for 4 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) to the pan and cook over medium heat until the liquid is reduced and coats the tofu.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
