Heat the takoyaki pan and lightly grease it with salad oil. Pour batter into each mold halfway, then add octopus, mochi, and green onion. Pour more batter to fill the molds completely.

Cook for 3–5 minutes until golden brown. Push the overflowed batter into the mold while rotating each piece halfway. Add more batter if needed and cook for another 3 minutes.

Once fully cooked and golden, transfer to a plate. Top with okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and aonori.
