Main Ingredients
- 2 packs of natto
- 100g yam, peeled and crushed
Soup Base
- 300ml water
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi granules
- 2 tbsp miso paste
Toppings
- Chopped nori, as needed

Peel the yam and place it in a plastic bag. Crush it using a rolling pin until softened.

In a pot, add water and Japanese dashi granules. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then reduce to low heat and dissolve the miso paste while stirring. Heat until just before boiling.

Place the crushed yam and natto in a serving bowl. Pour the prepared miso soup over them and garnish with chopped nori.
