- 🐚 150g clams (purged)
Vegetables
- 40g nira (chopped)
Liquids
- 💧 400ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Place clams in a bowl with plenty of water and rub the shells together to clean them. Drain the water.

Trim the root ends of the nira and cut into 1cm pieces.

In a pot, combine clams, sake, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, skimming off any foam. Add nira, salt, and pepper, and simmer on low heat until the clam shells open. Stir in sesame oil.
