Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seafood
- 🐙 150g boiled octopus
Herbs
- 5 shiso leaves, sliced
Liquids
- 💧 Water as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp white dashi

Slice the shiso leaves into thin strips.

Cut the boiled octopus into 1cm wide pieces.

Add soaked rice, seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, white dashi), and water to the rice cooker up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice surface.

Place the octopus pieces on top of the rice and cook as usual.

Once cooked, gently mix the rice and octopus. Serve in bowls and garnish with shiso leaves.
