Main Ingredients
- 🐟 3 pieces of salmon steak
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion
- A small amount of cooking oil
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
Teriyaki Sauce
- 🧂 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1.5 tbsp corn syrup
步骤
Mix all the teriyaki sauce ingredients in a pan and bring to a gentle boil. Avoid over-reducing as it will be cooked further with the salmon.
Clean the salmon by scraping off the scales with a spoon and rinse thoroughly. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Heat a pan with a small amount of cooking oil. Sear the salmon on both sides until golden brown.
Once the salmon is golden brown on both sides, add the prepared teriyaki sauce to the pan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
Optionally, add green onion or onion slices to the pan while simmering to enhance flavor and reduce the fishy smell.
Once the sauce has thickened and the salmon is well-coated, transfer to a serving plate and enjoy.
