Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
- 🍠 1 piece (300g) sweet potato
- 🧅 1 onion
- 🥬 1/2 bunch spinach
Cooking Essentials
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 50cc water
- Chopped parsley, as needed
Cream Sauce
- 🥛 300cc milk
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp consomme
- Pinch of pepper
步骤
Cut the sweet potato into bite-sized pieces and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain. Slice the onion into 1cm wide strips.
Microwave spinach in a heatproof container for 1 minute at 600W. Cool in water, drain, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chicken skin-side down and cook until browned. Add onion and sauté until softened.
Add sweet potato and sauté for 3 minutes. Add butter and stir until melted. Sprinkle flour and cook for 1 minute until no longer powdery. Add water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add cream sauce ingredients (milk, salt, consomme, pepper) and mix well. Cover and simmer on low-medium heat for 5 minutes until thickened.
Add spinach and cook for 1 minute until heated through. Serve in a dish and garnish with parsley.
