    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin

    • 🥢 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

Slice the chicken breast horizontally to halve its thickness, then cut into 3cm wide strips, leaving 2cm uncut at the top. Season with salt and pepper, and lightly coat with cornstarch.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken strips in the pan and cook until browned. Flip and push to the side. Add broccoli florets to the pan, sprinkle with water (1 tbsp), cover, and steam over low heat for 3 minutes. Remove broccoli and season with salt.

Add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken. Remove and let cool.

Pack cooked rice into a bento box, tear roasted seaweed into pieces and place on top. Arrange the teriyaki chicken and broccoli on the rice. Sprinkle white sesame seeds over the chicken.
