Peel the steamed sweet potatoes and mash them finely with a fork.

Melt 1/2 tbsp butter in a pot over medium heat.

Add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent.

Add the mashed sweet potatoes to the pot and stir well.

Pour in 1.5 cups of milk and stir to combine.

Blend the mixture using a hand blender until smooth.

Add 3 tbsp of pizza cheese and stir until melted.
