INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices deli Swiss cheese
- 4 slices deli ham
Condiments and Seasonings
- 🧂 Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Binders and Coating
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 toothpicks
- Cooking spray
STEPS
Place chicken breast on a flat surface and slice horizontally to create a butterfly shape. Pound lightly to achieve 1/4-inch thickness.
Season chicken with salt and pepper, spread Dijon mustard on top, and layer with Swiss cheese, ham, and another slice of cheese. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick.
Prepare shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko and Parmesan mix. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
Dredge chicken in flour, dip in the egg, and coat with the bread crumb mixture. Spray with nonstick spray and let rest for 5 minutes.
Place chicken rolls in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Flip, spray any dry spots, and cook 8 minutes more.
