INGREDIENTS
Rice and Grain
- 2 cups cold cooked rice
Oils and Condiments
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 💧 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 🧂 salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
Protein
- 🥚 1 large egg, beaten
Vegetables
- 🥕 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
STEPS
Stir cooked rice, sesame oil, water, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until combined. Transfer to a metal cake pan or air fryer insert.
Preheat a 5-quart air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Cook the rice mixture for 10 minutes, stirring halfway.
Pour the beaten egg over the rice and cook for 4 minutes until set.
Add the thawed peas and carrots to the mixture; stir and cook for 2 additional minutes.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and Sriracha.
Serve the fried rice in two bowls, drizzling the prepared sauce on top before serving.
