💡 Granny Smith apples work best for this recipe as they hold their shape during baking and have a nice tartness to balance the sugar.Make sure to cut small vents in the top crust to allow steam to escape, which prevents a soggy pie.For added flavor, you can sprinkle a little sugar on top of the crust before baking.
