INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🌱 4 stalks asparagus (80g)
Batter
- 1 tbsp tempura flour
- 50g tempura flour
- đź’§ 70cc cold water
Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Salt to taste
STEPS
Trim the ends of the asparagus, peel the lower half with a peeler, and cut them in half. Place in a plastic bag, add 1 tbsp tempura flour, and shake to coat evenly.
Mix the tempura flour and cold water in a bowl to prepare the batter.
Heat 3cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 180°C. Dip the asparagus in the batter and fry for 1–2 minutes until crispy.
Serve on a plate with salt on the side.
