INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 ½ cup butter
- 🥚 2 large eggs
- 🍌 3 ripe bananas, mashed
Optional Add-ons
- 🌰 ½ cup chopped walnuts
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in mashed bananas.
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Beat into banana mixture just until combined.
Fold in nuts and pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, about 1 hour.
