INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 2 slices of buri (200g)
Vegetables
- 1/3 stalk of white part of negi
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Teriyaki Sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Sprinkle both sides of the buri with salt and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pat dry with a kitchen paper towel.
Cut the negi into 3 cm pieces.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the negi. Cook until both sides are browned and cooked through, then remove from the pan.
In the same pan, add salad oil and heat over medium heat. Place the buri with the side to be served facing down. Cook for about 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until done.
Wipe off excess oil with a kitchen paper towel, add the teriyaki sauce, and simmer until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Plate the buri, pour the remaining sauce from the pan over it, and serve with the cooked negi.
