INGREDIENTS
Crust
- 🧈 ¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 🌾 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 🧂 ½ cup white sugar
Filling
- 🧀 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 🧂 ¼ cup white sugar
- 🥚 2 eggs
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
- 🍎 3 cups apples - peeled, cored and sliced thinly
- 🧂 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 🧂 ½ cup white sugar
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix butter, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, and ½ cup sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch springform pan.
Beat cream cheese and ¼ cup sugar in a bowl. Stir in eggs and ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract. Pour mixture over the crust.
Combine apples, cinnamon, and ½ cup sugar in a bowl. Spoon apple mixture evenly over cream cheese mixture. Place the springform pan on a baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven until the center is set, about 50 to 65 minutes.
