INGREDIENTS
Marinade
- π€ 1/4 cup soy sauce
- π± 3 green onions, whites and greens, chopped
- π¬ 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- π§ 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- π€ 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- π° 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- π₯© 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, very thinly sliced
Dipping Sauce
- π€ 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- πΆ 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- π° 2 teaspoons crushed toasted sesame seeds
- π 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
- π 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- π¬ 1 pinch white sugar
STEPS
Mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, green onions, sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds together in a bowl. Add beef to the marinade. Let sit until flavors are well absorbed, at least 30 minutes.
Prepare dipping sauce: Mix 6 tablespoons soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, ginger root, paprika, cayenne pepper, and pinch of sugar together in a bowl.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef until firm and lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Serve with dipping sauce.
