INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpea flour (besan)
- 🍬 1 cup white sugar, or to taste
- 🥜 2 teaspoons finely chopped pistachio nuts
- 🥜 1 teaspoon finely chopped cashews
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup clarified butter (ghee)
STEPS
Combine the chickpea flour and clarified butter in a saucepan. Cook on medium-low heat while stirring continuously until the mixture smells aromatic and toasty, which should take about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool until safe to handle.
Mix in the sugar, pistachios, and cashews until evenly incorporated.
Form the mixture into small balls about the size of large cherries. Apply firm pressure while forming to ensure they hold together.
