INGREDIENTS
Dough
- 250g strong flour
- 80g weak flour
- đź§‚ 2/3 tsp salt
- đź’§ 210cc water
- 🍬 10g sugar
- 1/2 tbsp dry yeast
- 30cc olive oil
- đź§€ 70g pizza cheese
Cooking
- 1/2 tsp olive oil for frying
Finishing
- 1 tbsp olive oil for finishing
- đź§‚ 1 tsp herb salt
STEPS
Heat water in a microwave-safe container for 40 seconds at 600W. Mix in sugar and dry yeast to create yeast liquid.
Combine strong flour, weak flour, salt, yeast liquid, and 30cc olive oil in a bowl. Knead for about 15 minutes until elastic.
Form the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough gently to release air, reshape into a ball, and roll out to a 20cm diameter. Place pizza cheese in the center and fold to seal.
Grease a frying pan with 1/2 tsp olive oil. Place the dough seam-side down, press lightly to fit the pan, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
Poke holes in the dough with your fingers, brush with 1 tbsp olive oil, sprinkle herb salt, and cook covered over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Reduce to low heat and cook for 3 minutes. Flip and cook covered for another 5-7 minutes until done.
