STEPS
Cut the Napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Add dashi broth, soy sauce, mirin, and salt to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the cabbage core to the pot first and simmer for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Add the cabbage leaves and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until tender.
Turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
