INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 🌾 2 cups all purpose flour
- 🌾 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 🥛 3 tablespoons powdered milk
- 🍬 3 tablespoons sugar
- 🧂 1 teaspoon salt
- 🍞 1 tablespoon rapid rise yeast
Wet Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 💧 1 cup warm water, 120 to 130°F
STEPS
Wash hands with soap and water.
Combine flour, whole wheat flour, yeast, sugar, salt and powdered milk in a resealable freezer bag. Remove air and seal bag. Shake and work bag with fingers to blend ingredients.
Add oil and warm water to dry ingredients, reseal bag, and mix by squeezing bag until dough forms and pulls away from the bag.
Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place back into the bag and let rest for 10 minutes.
Shape dough on a greased baking sheet or place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise until doubled, approximately 60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F, then bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack or clean towel.
