INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥦 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
Dairy
- 🧀 ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 🧀 ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Proteins
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
Seasoning & Spices
- ¼ cup Italian-seasoned gluten-free bread crumbs
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 leaves fresh basil leaves, rolled and finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 🧂 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (Optional)
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place broccoli florets into a food processor and pulse until broccoli is riced. Transfer to a clean paper towel and squeeze out as much water as possible.
In a large bowl, mix broccoli rice, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, bread crumbs, garlic, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
Separate the mixture into 4 equal-sized balls and shape into individual pizza crusts. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until the bottom is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
Flip the crusts and bake until the other side is golden brown, about 10-12 minutes more.
